Overview

1Journal is more than your average desktop journaling software. It has features that help you record, analyze and organize more of your life to give you a more holistic and integrated perspective of your life. It is designed to give you the structure and insights to help you to live more fully and deeply with less stress and more productivity.

1Journal comes in a free version, a standard version, and premium version. You can easily upgrade from one version to another, retaining all of your journal entries, prompts and other data that you may have accumulated to that time.

The free features that are found in all versions of 1Journal include the following.

  • Journal Manager - manage all of your journal entries, and filter the display with numerous different criteria
  • Journal Editor - write your journal entries using the built-in mini word-processor
  • Prompt Manager - organize quotes, questions and other phrases into prompt libraries that you can share with others
  • Category Manager - categorize journal entries, prompts and other items for a coherent reflection of your life.
  • Import & Export - in the free version, export and import journals and prompts and exchange with others

The standard version has even more features to provide you with a deeper and more robust analysis of your journals and records and some tools to help you keep your journals and your life more organized.

The premium version has all of the features of the standard version as well as some additional tools for organizing your life. It also contains the powerful and flexible records feature that allows you to keep track of nearly any aspect of your life (e.g., blood pressure, exercise activity, medicine schedule) and graph it over time.

  • Record Manager - keep track of health measurements, medicine records, etc.
  • To-Do List - use the Getting Things Done approach to minimize stress while maximizing productivity
  • Graphs - graph your records to spot trends

You can always start at the version that is right for your budget at the time and then upgrade later, not losing any of your journal entries or data that you have stored.
