The 1Journal software has been produced by Awake Software, whose charter is to use technology to help Awaken the Best in our lives.

Our first journaling product was Awaken 98, and 1Journal builds on the lessons learned from that software as well as from years of personal experience with journaling, the use of other desktop journaling software and an investigation of other desktop journaling packages.
